Poland midfielder Piotr Zielinski has revealed he rejected the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Juventus and Barcelona to join Inter Milan last summer.
Zielinski had a number of offers from clubs in Italy and abroad last summer but chose to stay in Italy and signed a deal to join Serie A champions Inter.
“Liverpool, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are interested,” the Poland midfielder said.
“I had an excellent offer from Barcelona, but I like Italy. I adapted well at Napoli and it would be difficult for me to go to England.”
“I would also consider Spain, but my priority is to continue my career in Italy. At the moment I am at Inter, but I would also be happy to extend my contract with Napoli.”
Zielinski has been playing in Italy since 2011, when he moved from Lublin in Poland to join Udinese U19s.
He then went on to play for the first team at Udinese, Empoli, Napoli and Inter.
He won the Serie A title at the Stadio Diego Maradona in the 2022-23 season and has scored 44 goals and provided 49 assists in 371 appearances in the Italian top flight.
Zielinski did not renew his contract Register ufabet with Napoli last summer, moving to Inter on a free transfer.
This season he has scored two goals in 12 appearances in all competitions for the Nerazzurri.
His contract at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza expires in June 2028.
